FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed rotor-type combustion chamber comprises permeable porous driven rotor fitted on shaft in scroll housing, fuel and air feed manifolds and combustion product and working medium tapping manifolds. Rotor is made up of hollow perforated-wall cylinder exposed on its one side accommodating permeable cylindrical ring made from porous material and aligned therewith. Note here that a part of free space between permeable cylindrical ring and shaft is filled with granulated porous filler limited by screen ring to accommodate fuel between said ring and shaft, while hollow cylinder exposed face surface is partially closed by disk-like plate with central bore that features diametre exceeding shaft diametre to allow fuel feed. Invention covers also method of combusting fuel in rotary combustion chamber.
EFFECT: higher completeness of fuel combustion, reduced concentration of harmful combustion products.
