FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: optical recording apparatus for storing data has at least one polymer layer with photo-addressing. In the said layer, data are recorded through exposure in form of at least one polarisation hologram, where the polarisation hologram is invisible to the human eye. Also, energy of the recording radiation lies between two extreme values. Supply of energy higher than the upper limit leads to formation of visible surface structures in the polymer layer with photo-addressing, and supply of energy below the lower limit forms unstable double refraction structures.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at designing apparatus which can store at least 100 KB of confidential data, while protecting from forgery and undesirable access.
