FIELD: fire-fighting, particularly smoke indicators to detect ignition at early stage as smoke aerosol appears.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises smoke sensor secured to suspended ceiling and smoke suction device. Smoke suction device comprises two pipes with outlets connected with smoke detector interior and with inlets provided with bevel cuts at ends thereof. The bevel cuts are formed so that both pipes may entrap smoke flow in two directions defining angle of up to 90° in-between from all sides. Each pipe may be made as thin-walled pipe having 45 mm length, 15 mm diameter and wall thickness of not more than 1 mm. The pipes are manufactured of metal or impact-resistant plastics. Each pipe may have figured cut at receiving end thereof, which catches air moving in predetermined direction, i.e. figured cut of the first pipe is directed to north-east and figured cut of the second pipe is directed to south-west.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of smoke suction in all directions.
