SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a value of the area of illuminating point elements of a sign and total area of non-illuminating point elements equal to the value of the area of spaces between them, where the value of the equivalent area for distinguishing the sign is maximum. For visual reading of digital information, a new decimal digital alphabet is used, the outline of the signs for which their resolution within the digital format assumes a maximum value.
EFFECT: reduced irregularity of power consumption from sign to sign.
