DISPLAY DEVICE WITH SEGMENT CHARACTER SCALING Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC G09G5/22

Abstract RU 2432621 C2

FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: for visual reading of digital information, a 7-segment and a 4-segment digital alphabet are used with three-position segment coding on the 7-segment display format with variable illumination colour. The illumination colour, shape of the digital character, as well as the position of the digital character on the display device depend on the value of the measured parameter of the object (normal operating mode of the object, reduction of the parameter, increase in the parameter).

EFFECT: improving the work of the operator when determining when their service system deviates from the operating mode, broader functionalities of the display device, particularly increase in the number of code categories when forming a character for the display, broader functionalities of the device for converting a binary coded decimal to a control code of elements of the display.
