FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: composite high-strength wire with higher electroconductivity comprises the following components arranged concentrically - a core of electrotechnical copper, an external shell from a copper-based alloy and a circular layer between the core and the external shell, made of high-strength copper-based alloy with alloying elements, which do not form intermetallic compounds with copper, in the form of fibres from Nb or Ag, or Cr, or V, or Ta, or Fe, content of which makes 15-30 vol. %. Besides, the external shell is made of corrosion-resistant material, comprising elements that suppress spark formation, area of cross section of the external shell makes 15-20% of the wire section area, and area of cross section of the core makes 30-40% of the wire section area.
EFFECT: achievement of high strength of the wire, its high electroconductivity and at the same time high corrosion resistance and low inclination to spark formation in case the wire is used as a current-conducting element of contact network.
