FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy; electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of non-ferrous metallurgy and electrical engineering; it can be used for the production of electrical products, such as conductive elements in the form of wire rods, wires, plates, tires, cables (including on-board wiring of vehicles), as well as wires of overhead power lines. In the proposed invention, a composite high-strength heat-resistant wire contains a core of an aluminum alloy of Al-Zr system with electrical conductivity of at least 58% IACS and a shell of a high-strength aluminum alloy with tensile strength of at least 365 MPa, containing alloying components, copper (Cu) and manganese (Mn) at a ratio, in wt.%: 0.4-2.0 of Cu; 0.7-2.0 of Mn, or magnesium (Mg) and zirconium (Zr) at a ratio, in wt.%: 0.4-1.5 of Mg; 0.1-0.4 of Zr, wherein the cross-sectional area of the shell is 70-90% of the cross-sectional area of the wire.
EFFECT: use of this composite wire makes it possible to increase the reliability and service life of electrical products and power grids, as well as reduce their cost, which makes it possible to attribute the claimed invention to import-substituting technologies.
