SUBSTANCE: contact unit of a fast-acting circuit breaker comprises the first main contact fixed on the first axis, the second main contact fixed on the second axis and driving mechanisms with springs of contact pressing. Between the main contacts there is an intermediate contact, fixed on the traction rod of a forward action joined with a drive and a disconnection spring. All contacts are made of silver with soldered-on refractory current-conducting material, fixed on upper surface of the main contacts and on the lower surface of the intermediate contact.

EFFECT: reduction of consumed power during connection of the fast-acting circuit breaker drive and improved efficiency.
