FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: spark plug comprises a body with a side electrode, an insulator, a central and a side electrodes. The metal part of the body and the side electrode are treated with nitride-titanium sputtering. The upper part of the body is a resonant chamber, inner surface of which has a conical shape with an inclination angle of 51-54 degrees to the horizontal line and symmetrically surrounds the spark gap. There are ventilation holes available in the resonant chamber. The side electrode is installed inside the resonant chamber, at the same time the end of the side electrode, forming the spark gap, is installed inside the resonant chamber and does not protrude beyond the upper limits of the metal body.

EFFECT: increased resource and reliability of the spark plug operation, improved spark formation and ignition, increased resonant effect, which specifies direction of flame front.
