FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used for control of thermal state of power modules of static converters of voltage and frequency of different types and purposes. Technical result is automation of detecting most heated module, low hardware costs, higher efficiency and reliability, as well as high information value of device. Device to control thermal conditions of power modules of converter is equipped with a unit for selecting maximum voltage, a unit for indicating number of power module, a temperature indicator, two comparators and an alarm unit. Unit for selecting maximum voltage is made on three operating rectifiers. Unit for indicating number of power module with highest temperature is made on transistor switches, inverters, triggers, and light-emitting diodes.
EFFECT: device considerably improves conditions of operation of converter, easier search and fault elimination, is characterised by small dimensions, weight and cost.
