FIELD: refrigerating plants, pump units. SUBSTANCE: machine has three rotors 2,3,4, that form working chambers inside machine frame 1; central driving rotor 2 is barrel-shaped and eccentrically mounted on shaft 6; two peripheral rotors 3,4 are curvilinear figures in cross-sectional areas symmetrical relative to main axes. Each of four similar convex sections of this figure is described by set of two equations in parametric form. Provision is made for synchronizing system to ensure unidirectional rotation of rotors 2,3,4 at angular velocity of rotor 2 twice as high as that of rotors 3,4. These factors along with design options of working medium distributer 5 (in the form of slide valve 9 or set of self-acting valves) enable us to implement rotor machine in four modifications apart from compressor machine, that is, as system incorporating compressor combined with resonant tube, expander, pump, hydraulic motor.
