FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: coupling for connection of shafts consists of flexible circular coupling, of driving end part and of driven end part. The end parts have multitude of lugs running in axial direction; also, in their arrangement the driving lugs freely enter space between the driven lugs with a gap between each pair of lugs. The coupling is tightly set on periphery of the lugs freely inserted one between another. On external periphery each lug has at least one groove. Each of two periphery edges can be shaped to form sides of the groove, and each row of two neighbour sides of the groove on neighbour lugs form the groove of the gap. The sleeve has multitude of teeth including multitude of teeth interacting with the grooves and multitude of teeth interacting with the gaps. The teeth interacting with the grooves engage the grooves of the lugs, while the teeth interacting with the gaps engage the gaps. The teeth interacting with the grooves are bigger, than the teeth interacting with the gaps.
EFFECT: increased service life, increased nominal torque and improved weight-dimension characteristics of coupling.
