FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: combustion method of pulverised coal in swirling-type furnace involves grinding, mechanical activation and combustion; some part of coal after grinding is supplied to disintegrator chamber, and then to burner of flame lighting-up, while the main portion of coal after it has been ground is supplied by injection to chamber of swirling-type furnace; at that lighting-up burner flame is directed to zone between two air flows rotating in opposite directions relative to each other. Zone between two air flows rotating in opposite directions relative to each other is formed owing to tangential supply of injected air and by changing the direction of tangential velocity component of vortex flow to the opposite one.
EFFECT: reducing all kinds of costs, including operating costs, thus providing high degree of coal afterburning and minimum emissions of hazardous gases to atmosphere.
