SUBSTANCE: ultrasonic converter (100), comprises the following components: a lattice of piezoelectric elements (175); the first and the second current-conducting acoustic matching layers (120, 130) applied above piezoelectric elements; a common grounding plate (180) applied above the second matching layer and electrically connected to piezoelectric elements by means of the first and second acoustic matching layers; and the third matching layer (140), containing low-density polyethylene (LDPE) applied above the common grounding plate.
EFFECT: expansion of frequency band.
