SUBSTANCE: in version of realisation an access terminal may group multiple pilot signals, characterised by various frequencies, into one or more groups of pilot signals, besides, each grouping of the pilot signal is identified by multiple parametres (for instance, by PN displacement and group ID). Each group of pilot signals includes pilot signals, which have substantially the same service zone. The access terminal may additionally select an indicative pilot signal from each group of pilot signals to transmit a report on the pilot signal level. The access terminal may also use grouping of pilot signals for efficient management of packages.
