FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to equipment for processing discrete or solid materials at combined or separate effects of gas pressure of up to 500 MPa and temperature of up to 2000°C developed inside working chamber of gasostatic extruder. Proposed extruder comprises bearing foundation and container with top plug and bottom plug that make its working chamber communicated via gas line with extruder gas system comprising shut-off valves, each being provided with needle that has lug made thereon and sealing assembly, and communicated with feed channel. Note here that cylindrical groove is made on needle shut-off section of each valve opposite said feed channel, groove upper edge not included in sealing assembly. Note also that said lug is made up of two opposed ledges that form flow section equal to the valve diametre nominal.
EFFECT: increased valve flow section and throughput at minor needle stroke in valve opening.
