GASOSTATIC EXTRUDER Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC B22F3/15

Abstract RU 2402409 C1

FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment designed to process discrete and solid materials with simultaneous or combined effects of high (up to 500 MPa) pressure and temperature of up to 2000°C. Proposed gasostatic extruder comprises foundation, container with its faces stopped by top and bottom plugs that form inner cavity communicated by gas multiplier with gas system. Said control valves with increased Dnom passages comprises body with seat to form above-valve and sub-valve chambers, needle, servo drive with cup and unloading cylinder with rod arranged inside low-stiffness pressure spring. Note here that they are furnished with two-side bayonet locks for unloading gas cylinder to interact with servo drive cup. Valve needle and gas cylinder rod have channels to communicate cylinder gas chamber with sub-valve chamber. Besides said needle and rod are arranged to be sealed relative to each other by 'metal-metal" toper joint.

EFFECT: higher efficiency, reduced gas pipeline length and number of high-pressure joints.
