FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to moving object equipped with fuel cells. In compliance with first version, proposed moving object comprises engine running on electric power generated by fuel cells, exhaust pipe, medium detection pickup, decision making module to check availability or absence of obstacle and controller to detect said obstacle. Said controller, in response to instruction of decision making module, stops power generation by fuel cells. In compliance with second version, moving object additionally comprises device to feed fuel gas to fuel elements and device to feed oxidising gas thereto. Note here that decision making module increases fuel gas consumption and that of oxidising gas irrespective of power takeoff from fuel cells. In compliance with first version, proposed method of control consists in determining availability of obstacle, terminating power generation by fuel cells in detecting said obstacle. In compliance with second version, proposed method consists in making decision about availability or absence of obstacle and increasing fuel gas and oxidising gas consumption irrespective of power takeoff from fuel cells on detecting aforesaid obstacle.
EFFECT: preventing fuel cells damage.
