FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: cylindrical gabion 1 consists of an external net 2, an intermediate net 3 and an internal net 4. Hollow cylinders are made of woven or hexahedral net with double twisting in assemblies and are installed concentrically relative to the axis of symmetry of the cylindrical gabion 1. Thickness of wire, from which the external net 2 is made, is more than compared to the intermediate net 3. Thickness of the intermediate net 3 is more than in the internal net 4. The internal space formed between the external net 2, the intermediate net 3 and the internal net 4 is filled with stone 5. Ends of cylindrical gabion 1 are closed with plugs 6. The cylindrical gabion has length and diametre accordingly of 1.0÷2.0 m and 0.5÷1.5 m.

EFFECT: increased rigidity and bearing ability of structure.
