FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reclamation and nature preservation improvements and may be used to protect slopes, sand steppes against water and wind erosion. A device for fixation of tree roots includes a net and stones. It comprises cylindrical gabions installed concentrically and forming a telescopic structure so that diameter of cylindrical gabions increases as they approach earth. The net of the lower cylindrical gabions is anchored into the upper one, and the highest cylindrical gabion is filled with stones to the height of 0.5 m, and the root system of a planted plant is inserted into the left hollow part of the net space with filling and compaction of fertile soil.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of plants fixation and protection of soil against water and wind erosion.
