DIAGNOSTIC TECHNIQUE FOR PREMATURE DETACHMENT OF NORMALLY LOCATED PLACENTA Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC G01N33/53

Abstract RU 2601625 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to pathologic anatomy, and concerns diagnosing premature detachment of normally located placenta (PDNLP), caused by inflammation. Method is implemented by morphological study of basal decidual shell with immunohistochemical staining method of determining specific area of placenta basal plate per fibronectin-positive structure, which is calculated by formula where a is number of points in grid per fibronectin-positive structure; A - total number of points in grid (100). CD68 macrophages molecules expression index molecules is determined. If specific area of placenta basal plate per fibronectin is equal to 20 % or less, and CD68 macrophages molecules expression index molecules is equal to 2.90 s.u. or more, placenta detachment is diagnosed. Use of invention provides extending range of morphological diagnostic agents for detecting PDNLP, making it possible to diagnose any areas of detachment, including microdetachment of placenta, associated with inflammation.

EFFECT: method is objective and reliable, improves quality of histological conclusion, high-informative and easy in assessment of results.
