FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, orthopedics, cryomedicine, namely to problems of treating clubfoot in children of the first year of life. Method includes application of soft-fabric correcting bandage with further change of bandages, during which every 2-3 days cryomassage of surface of one or both extremities is performed by means of cryorollers from titanium nickelide filled with liquid nitrogen with soft applicative-rolling massage alternating movements. Session duration is 3-7 minutes. In case of severe degree of congenital clubfoot course includes 15-20 procedures, in case of light degree - 10-12 procedures. After achieved correction in children from 6 months to 1.5-2 years of age foot and ankle joint continue to be fixed during day and night sleep in splints from Polyvic, modeled from Polyvic or in braces.
EFFECT: method increases efficiency of treating clubfoot in comparison with known method of treating by means of bandages, due to recovery of function of tendon-ligament-muscle system of foot and ankle joint.
