FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves fixing extremity after redressing by applying soft fabric bandages. To do it, sick extremity is bent at right angle in knee to achieve muscles relaxation in dorsal baby position. After having done corrigent medical gymnastics exercises within 5 min, bandaging is started using soft fabric material bandage. The first bandage coils are turned around foot directing them oppositely to pathological deformity over back surface of foot from internal foot edge to external one, then over plantar surfaces inside 2-3 times. Then, the bandage goes along internal shin surface upwards to back femoral surface in its middle one-third region, pulling up internal foot edge. Knee joint is bent at an angle of 90°. Next, bandaging passes to frontal femoral part surface on the internal extremity part. The bandage is lowered to the middle one-third of the shin, obliquely across its frontal surface. Then, the bandage coil passes into the first coil across the back and internal surface of ankle joint. Then, the bandage goes upward to thighs after having repeated foot enveloping. The bandage is applied in 3-4 layers. Bandages are changed 2-4 times a day during 2 weeks, then once a day until positive result is achieved in mild flat valgus deformity cases. Severe cases involve doing it 3-5 times a day during the first 2-4 weeks until satisfactory result is achieved, further, once a day within 3 months, and further once a day until good correction is achieved within 3 months.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; created conditions for one-stage influence and correction of all elements of deformities and foot.
