FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to pediatric surgery for correction of planovalgus deformity in children. Perform layer-by-layer access to subtalar joint at the front and to distal lateral malleolus. From the sinus remove scar tissue and ligaments filling subtalar joint. Articular surface of the talus, the middle and the front facets of the calcaneus are trimmed from cartilage tissue, which is completely removed. Foot is brought into position of normal correction. Install an implant of suitable size, at an angle of 10-15° relative to the frontal plane in the form of a truncated cone with the base facing outwards, which is made of a composite porous titanium nickelide with porosity of 81 % with an average pore size of 420 mcm. Wound is sutured with subsequent fixation of the foot for 8-12 weeks and wearing orthopedic shoes for a year.
EFFECT: correction of planovalgus deformity of feet in children.
