FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: diagnosis method involves detecting errors in the input/output device of the system of the programmable logic controller or in the input/output interface of said system. The diagnosis method involves execution of at least two scanning cycles, at the end of each of which a single-bit flag, set in response to error detection, is reset in order to avoid processing repeating errors during a constant diagnostic problem. Diagnosis system implements said method.
EFFECT: high accuracy of diagnosis system of a programmable logic controller.
