SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, namely, to car passive protection means. Proposed safe bumper consists of a spring unit arranged along the car and having its rear and front parts rigidly jointed with the body and bumpers, respectively. Said spring unit is made up of a flexible elastic plate with its rear jointed with the body rear board and its front bent downward and arranged at car bumper standard height. Said plate is coated by a layer of flexible material, while underlying board section is convex. Pad arranged between aforesaid plate and body board convex part is made from porous material.
EFFECT: higher passive safety.
