FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry. Synthesis gas is produced from common charge containing hydrocarbons and, possibly, recirculated compounds. Common charge comprises first, second and third charges. Flow with first charge with addition of steam is subjected to conversion with steam to produce, at least, one synthesis gas fraction in, at least, one multi-tube heat exchange reactor with multiple tubes accommodating catalyst and chamber wherein said tubes are enclosed. First charge with steam addition circulates in multiple tubes in one direction. Reaction tubes are heated by circulation of fluid heat carrier outside said tubes, but, mostly, in first charge countercurrent conditions wherein fluid heat carrier contains, at least, first gas flow from partial or complete combustion of first charge subjected to circulation in aforesaid reactor for heating of reaction tubes, which then is mixed in, at least, one additional charge inside the chamber with, at least, a part of third charge and gas to up the temperature of said first flow. Mix flow thus produced circulates in heat exchange reactor for extra heating of reaction tubes till release from said reactor. Synthesis gas is produced from first load flow and, possibly, from part or all flow of fluid heat carrier.
EFFECT: higher process efficiency.
