FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry. A stream containing a first load with addition of water vapour undergoes conversion with water vapour in at least one multi-tube heat exchange reactor, having several reaction tubes containing a conversion catalyst with water vapour, and a chamber in which said tubes lie for obtaining a first synthetic gas. The reaction tubes are mainly heated through convection by circulating fluid heat carrier in the chamber outside the tubes, in which there is a stream of gas which essentially does not contain nitrogen, for partial oxidation of a second load with oxygen to obtain a second synthetic gas. The fluid heat carrier contains at least a first stream for partial oxidation of a first portion with oxygen, where the first portion circulates in the heat exchange reactor for heating the reaction tubes, which is then mixed in at least one additional zone for partial oxidation with at least a second portion and oxygen, fed separately or in a mixture, in order to raise temperature of the said first stream. The stream of the obtained mixture circulates in the chamber in order to further heat the reaction tubes before coming out of the said heat exchange reactor. Synthetic gas is obtained by mixing the first and second synthetic gases. Hydrogen is obtained from the synthetic gas.
EFFECT: invention increases cost-effectiveness of the process.
