FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves adding a hardener into liquid pre-heated epoxy resin. Further, copper nanoparticles are added to the obtained mixture and the mixture is stirred until a stable suspension is obtained. The obtained suspension is added to an epoxyvinylether resin of a hot hardener and stirred.
EFFECT: invention increases fire-resistance of composite materials while preserving mechanical characteristics, physical and mechanical properties and processability during processing via a pultrusion technique.
