FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: at the first step (a) of the method of preparing fire-resistant binder, a hardener is added to liquid epoxy resin, having temperature not higher than approximately 30°C. At the second step (b), copper nanoparticles are added to the obtained mixture At the third step (c) the mixture is mixed with the added copper nanoparticles to obtain a stable suspension. At the fourth step (d) the obtained suspension is added to pre-accelerated cold-setting vinyl ether resin. Finally, at the fifth step (e) the formed mixture is stirred to obtain fire-resistant binder.
EFFECT: high fire resistance of composite materials prepared using said binder, while preserving mechanical characteristics of such materials, their physical-mechanical properties and manufacturability when processing using an infusion technique.
