FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: at the first step (a) of the method of preparing an epoxy composition, a suspension of functionalised OH-groups of carbon nanotubes in methylethylketone solvent is prepared by mixing in an ultrasonic disperser. At the second step (b) discrete fibrous filler is added to the prepared suspension in form of wollastonite and mixed until formation of a homogeneous mixture. At the third step (c) said methylethylketone solvent is removed from the obtained mixture. At the fourth step (d) residue of said mixture is added to the epoxy binder after removal of the solvent. Finally, at the fifth step (e) the formed compound is stirred to obtain said epoxy composition with high crack resistance.
EFFECT: high crack resistance, good strength properties and cracking resistance in pultrusion moulding process.
