SHOE FOR PLACEMENT OF PROFILE SHUTTER IN WELL Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC E21B29/10 

FIELD: oil and gas production.

SUBSTANCE: shoe consists of case with central channel. Performing limited lengthwise travels valve element, equipped with a pass and a fishing head above, is pressure tight installed in the channel. The case is furnished with rollers with axial orifices, while the valve element below the fishing head is made with cone downward converging surface and an external arrester from beneath. Uniformly arranged along perimetre and height orifices of the case have axles positioned in planes perpendicular to axis of the case. Diametre of roller orifices exceeds diametres of axles at value as high, as maximum possible radial travel of the rollers. The case is pressure tight inserted into a lower part of the profile shutter. External diametre of the rollers ensure rollers simultaneously interacting with internal surface of the lower part of the profile shutter and with conic converging surface of the valve element.

EFFECT: simplified design, expanded functionality, reduced time for fabrication of device.
