FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: buffer of gyroscopic device of cannon refers to military equipment, and namely to towed, self-propelled and other artillery ammunition, particularly to ammunition where gyroscopic device is located on swinging part (cradle) of ammunition. Buffer of gyroscopic device of cannon includes bases movable relative to each other and connected with four elastic bars fixed on one base provided with a special projection for that purpose and having slip joint to the other base. When being connected the bars form flat X-shaped structure arranged in the appropriate cavity of the base carrying the instrument. Cavity is formed with four wedge-shaped convergent blind slots. The base carrying the instrument has in its turn in upper part facing the cannon base the arc-shaped cavity which is crossed with a deep rectangular slot. At that, the other base fixed on the cannon base is located in that rectangular slot. Besides, elastic bars are made in the form of flattened taper beam equal in strength and with cylindrical section on one end and spherical thickening on the other end, and flattened surfaces are made between cylindrical section and spherical thickening on both sides.
EFFECT: providing reliable vibration protection of navigation device and improving firing accuracy of the cannon equipped with the above device.
