SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of allocating resources during reconfiguration, where said method comprises steps for determining a first time instant in which reconfiguration will commence with respect to an access terminal, determining a second time instant which corresponds to the last frame boundary which corresponds to the access terminal, before the time instant in which reconfiguration will commence, and determining resource allocation parametres corresponding to the access terminal, and implementing the resource allocation parametres during the second time instant. The method may also involve stopping transmission to the access terminal over a direct link during the second time instant and interrupting monitoring of control channels of the return link, corresponding to the access terminal during the second time instant.
EFFECT: optimising resource allocation before or after completing reconfiguration.
