FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of carbonaceous materials, particularly to the technology of producing graphite foil with regulated density distribution. The apparatus for producing foil from thermal expanded graphite has a storage bin with gas removing apparatus. There is thermal expanded graphite dispenser under the storage bin and under the dispenser there is a horizontal first conveyer belt over the free end of which of which a second conveyer belt lies at an angle to the first, wherein the conveyer belts have walls on two sides. A leveller of the layer of thermal expanded graphite is installed between the dispenser and the second conveyer belt over and across the first conveyer belt. Behind the conveyer belts there is at least one pair of shafts for rolling the layer of thermal expanded graphite being fed. The dispenser is in form of a vertical gutter, the bottom part of which is rounded, and plates are mounted on the vertical part of the open side of the gutter across it and slanting towards the bottom of the gutter.
EFFECT: simple design and obtaining foil with uniform density.
