FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method involves generating a magnetic field in the device using a permanent magnet, measuring magnetic field strength, re-measuring magnetic field strength with the joint filler inside the device. Efficiency of bridging the magnetic field is calculated. Based on the dependency of bridging efficiency from percentage content of powder of magnetically soft metal or alloy inside a magnetic dielectric, its percentage content is determined. The device has apparatus for measuring magnetic field strength with a measuring probe and a magnetising apparatus. The magnetising apparatus has two parallel flat prismatic plates made from a magnetically soft ferrite, a permanent magnet in form of a rectangular prism. The magnet lies between the plates made from magnetically soft ferrite.
EFFECT: high reliability of results of controlling optimum amount of powder of magnetic material or alloy inside magnetodielectric material for joint spacing.
