FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering and railway transport, in particular to reversible or bidirectional static voltage converters to provide power to consumers for their own needs of railway vehicles. To achieve the technical result, the static voltage converter contains a capacitor at the input with a choke connected to it, to the output of which two series-connected step-up converters are connected, each loaded on its own half-bridge voltage inverter, each of these converters and the voltage inverter connected to it are made of IGBT -modules and power capacitors, wherein each power switch of the voltage inverter half-bridge consists of at least two series-connected IGBT modules, in addition, a resonant capacitor, a resonant choke and a primary winding of a high-voltage transformer are located between the boost converter and the inverter, forming a series resonant circuit, the secondary winding of this the transformer is connected to the diagonal of the bridge circuit, to the output of which a power capacitor is connected.
EFFECT: ability to work in the reverse conversion mode, stabilize or change the voltage generated in the reverse conversion mode, as well as increase the operating frequency and efficiency of the converter.
