If a communication device fails to detect an active access point, this communication device selects an access point configured by a communication parameter, differing from a communication parameter specified at the moment of initialisation, as an access point, which is to be connected to by means of wireless connection.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of automatic selection of an access point for automatic configuration of communication parameters.
