SUBSTANCE: base station is selected when a communication parameter is selected. The communication device selects a base station with which the communication device should be connected to receive the communication parameter, and receives the communication parameter from the connected base station or from an external device communicating with the connected base station. If a base station with which the communication device was connected, when the communication device was unable to receive the communication parameter, the device activates processing to configure the communication parameter as a device for providing the communication parameter; the communication device selects the base station.
