FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises a continuous tape of elastic material and a component for soil treatment. The soil treatment component is attached to the continuous tape in a detachable manner with ledge away from it in radial direction. The component for soil treatment is made of rubber or other elastomer material and rigid relative to the continuous tape, and the continuous tape is arranged as flexible relative to the soil treatment component. The soil treatment component, according to the first version, has a soil treatment part and a base arranged as concave. The base has a peripheral edge protruding from the middle portion of the base and forming a gap between the middle portion of the base and the surface, where the soil treatment component is located. According to another version of the invention, the component for soil treatment has a body from formed material and an element of load distribution inbuilt into the specified body. The method includes the following steps: provision of vehicle tyre, removal of the specified tyre tread, forming holes through a radial wall of the tyre and attachment of components to treat soil to the device in the specified holes in the radial wall. The stage of tread removal includes turning or cutting of tread from the tyre. The turned or cut material of the tread is used to form components for soil treatment.

EFFECT: invention ensures operation of device under any conditions and at various types of soil.
