TIRES WITH RECONDITIONED TREAD AND METHOD FOR THEIR MANUFACTURE WITHOUT SPRAYED ADHESIVE Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: tire industry, in particular, method for manufacture of tires with a reconditioned tread, excluding application of adhesive on the tire casing. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in operations for removal of the tire tread from the casing so as to obtain a polished surface, application of a layer of sheathing rubber in the direction in circumference around the polished surface by a value sufficient for its correspondence with the polished surface. Accomplished in the method are the wrapping of the tread layer around the layer of sheathing rubber, insertion of the polished tire casing, layer of sheathing rubber and the tread layer inside the vulcanized shell and tire treatment for formation of joints between the casing and the layer of sheathing rubber between the tread layer and the sheathing rubber layer. EFFECT: reduced cost for production of tires with a reconditioned tread, reduced expenditures connected with operation, maintenance and current repair. 25 cl, 5 dwg
