FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to surgery and can be used for surgical treatment of pilonidal cyst. Radical dissection of pilonidal cyst is carried out. Flap is cut out in form of isosceles triangle, whose base is edge of wound defect after dissection of pilonidal cyst, base size corresponding to length of wound defect, flap length being not less that two times longer than wound defect width. Flap is completely separated from surrounding skin with preservation of feeding pedicle from subcutaneous fatty tissue. Being transferred on wound defect flap is fixed on perimetre, with displacement of vertically located part of wound to more lateral place than intragluteal fold, to the side opposite the side of flap cutting out.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to prevent accumulation of blood and wound secretion in under-flap space, reduce risk of flap necrosis.
