FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. Device for surgical treatment of fractures of distal metaepiphysis of radial bone includes C-shaped case with bush for pin, installed in canal on the first end of case, which has butt end 5-7 mm high teeth for preventing sliding along bone. On the second end of case placed is landmark for pin passing in form of 5-7 mm high tooth with 3-4 mm diameter, oriented towards bush. Bush is installed with possibility of fixation by means of screw. Method of surgical treatment of fractures of distal metaepiphysis of radial bone includes reposition, osteosynthesis by means of passing pins through fragments and external immobilisation. After reposition during osteosynthesis, at least two pins are introduced from the side of proximal fragment, one of which is passed into styloid process of radial bone, the other - into medial complex of radial bone, for which purpose two skin cuts with length up to 1 cm are made in region of lateral surfaces of radial bone diaphysis more proximally than place of fracture. In order to pass a pin said device is used. First, direction of pin introduction is chosen, after that, case of device is moved in such a way, that end of device bush, which contains teeth, was introduced to bone through preliminarily made skin cut, and device landmark was placed on continuation of the line corresponding to the direction of pin introduction. After fixation of bush with screw in case canal, pin is introduced through it, distal end of pin, which contains screw thread being placed subchondrally. In similar way the second pin is introduced through preliminarily made second skin cut.
EFFECT: inventions ensure low-traumatic and stable osteosynthesis of distal metaepiphusis of radial bone due to ensuring subchondral fixation of distal fragment by increasing accuracy of selecting direction in pin passing during surgical treatment of distal metaepiphysis of radial bone.
