FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mass-exchange equipment, namely, to fluid condensers and distributors of mass-exchange columns. Proposed condenser-distributor is intended for, preferably, packed rectification columns. To combine condenser and distributor functions in one design, condenser is made up of cylindrical housing with its diameter smaller than or equal to inner diameter of rectification column divided by horizontal partition into two chambers arranged one above the other. Condensing elements made up of conical or pyramidal containers with sharp tip downward are arranged below lower chamber. Inner spaces of said chambers terminate in lower chamber space. Upper chamber space is communicated with condensing elements spaces via tubes passing through lower chamber into condensing element spaces.
EFFECT: condenser doubles as distributor.
