FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rolling stand and method of band rolling. Rolling stand comprises, at least, one rolling foundation on drive side and one rolling stand on stand service side. Note here that stand incorporates bending device rigidly jointed with foundation cross members to displace and bent top and/or bottom working roll relative to rolling foundations. Note also that control over bending devices, hence, over working rolls, is performed by means of control device and, at least, one of bending device is made up of cylinder-piston assembly directly or indirectly coupled with foundation cross member. Its one end is proved with hinge to receive pin of direct or indirect joint with working roll. Note that said pin is made up of bending force measuring element.
EFFECT: efficient control, higher quality of rolled band.
