FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of fire-resistant anhydrous composite materials meant for compacting, separating and sealing high-temperature assemblies and units for transporting high-temperature melts in metallurgical industry. The mixture for making fire-resistant anhydrous composite material and articles contains fire-resistant filler, an elastomer, complex carbonaceous material and an additive. The fire-resistant filler is fire-resistant high-alumina filler of the 0.25-0.063 mm and 0.063-0.001 mm fraction. The complex carbonaceous material is in different amounts based on the mass of high-carbon thermoplastic material, nanosize carbon, crystalline graphite and bitumen, and the additive consists of different amounts per mass of aluminium hydroxide Al(OH)3 and magnesium carbonate MgCO3, with the following ratio of components in wt %: fire-resistant high-alumina filler of the 0.25-0.063 mm fraction 32.0-62.0; fire-resistant high-alumina filler of the 0.063-0.001 mm fraction 28.0-48.0; elastomer 7.5-13.0; complex carbonaceous material 2.0-4.0; additive 0.5-3.0.
EFFECT: high strength and burning point of articles.
