FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: in device there is used system of suction pipes communicated with equipment rack of electric equipment, subjected to supervision, with at least one inlet orifice. In the device air is sampled from the equipment rack of the electric equipment. The device includes a module of early detection of fire consisting of at least one unit of detector for recording at least one parameter of air sample withdrawn by the system of suction pipes. The device also has a control unit for transmission of fire early detection signal in response to result recorded with at least one unit of the detector. The module of fire early detection is fitted to a seat and is installed on the equipment rack of electric equipment subjected to supervision.

EFFECT: optimal protection of equipment rack of electric equipment regardless of its dimensions.
