FIELD: ecology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preservation and prevention of destruction of natural complexes from natural disasters, namely to methods of extinguishing forest fires, mainly in zones of settlements, wherein the urgency of the problem lies in the fact that fires have become more and more widespread in recent years, causing considerable damage, and are associated with considerable expenditures in extinguishing fires. As practice of using traditional measures to counteract forest fires shows, it is insufficient and has significant drawbacks. One of the most significant drawbacks is the difficulty of detecting inflammation at an early stage and methods of responding specifically to the initial sources of ignition. Increase in response efficiency is achieved by application of software and hardware system (SHS), which includes: 1) an optical or laser unit for detecting an ignition in a forest massif at a distance of up to 20 kilometers within a radius of the location of the SHS; 2) automatic decision and control unit; 3) two multi-rotor apparatus with on-board computers of "thermo-point" to exclude false discharge of fire-extinguishing load. Automation of the system allows interfering with the algorithm of its operation to the human operator at any stage of actions and making its own corrections or completely stopping the operation of the system. Upon completion of the work, the operator needs to recharge the multi-rotor apparatus with the new extinguishing load capsules. After checking the entire system by the operator, the system will be ready for continuation of the duty. If ignition source is at distance of 10 km from the complex base, then from the moment of ignition detection to the beginning of automatic quenching, 12 minutes pass.
EFFECT: high efficiency of responding to early-stage fires in forest zones adjacent to populated areas, line objects and other particularly important structures.
