FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely, to traumatology and orthopedics. Muscles, which are attached to greater trochanter are separated from it subperiosteally en bloc. Greater trochanter is resected. On external surface of femoral bone wedge-shaped saw cut is formed. After installation of endoprosthesis, greater trochanter is put on wedge-shaped saw cut, preliminarily forming in greater trochanter hole of respective size and shape. Greater trochanter is additionally fixed to femoral bone by means of screw. Earlier separated subperiosteal-muscular unit is placed onto external surface of femoral bone and sewn to soft para-articular tissues.
EFFECT: method ensures minimal risk of traction injury to sciatic nerve, absence of possibility of greater trochanter false joint development, recovery of full extremity function, simplification of operation technique.
