FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cleaning of gases containing liquid impurities. Proposed separator comprises stationary casing enclosing separation space and wall inner surface facing separation space for gas to pass through, inlet gas branch pipe, rotary element arranged in separation space along gas flow to rotate therein. Note here that said rotary element serves to impart rotary motion to gas to separate fraction of impurities from gas by centrifugal forces. It comprises also gas discharge branch pipe arranged downstream off gas flow to discharge cleaned gas, first liquid discharge branch pipe to discharge liquid impurities. Said branch pipe comprises, at least, one outlet, annular circular groove running outside said wall inner surface inside stationary casing, and has circular base surface, while outlet holes runs from base surface and outward.
EFFECT: efficient separation.
